I believe socialism has failed everywhere, and was our enemy back in the 50’s and 60’s. What the heck is this group of individuals thinking when they want to put something into place that will only put this country farther into debt and raise the tax’s? It seems like he is drifting away from capitalism and going in the direction of socialism. He isn’t a complete socialist, but he is headed that way. Why would we want someone who is going to change the fundamentals? Capitalism works great if people don’t cheat and steal and abuse the system!

Bush supporters state that congress spends the money. Correct me if I am wrong but were not the vast majority of spending bills written at the REQUEST of GW Bush to fund bailouts and the war in Iraq?

If I am correct can anyone honestly say that Bush had no input nor authority over spending after he requested the funds AND signed the bills?
Just Treading Water (below) Congress can’t overide Bush without a two thirds majority. Do they have a two thirds majority on either side of the Isle? Would enough reps crossover to make it happen?
